Hey Guys,
I am a 53 year old disabled woman. I've been working with resin for almost 4 years now, and it's what keeps me going! I absolutely adore creating art that people will have in their homes for years to come, or that people love so much, they give them as gifts to the ones they love the most in their lives. The feeling is unparralled! Unfortunately, epoxy resin, (and there are 4 different kinds), is extremely expensive!! For example, a gallon of just the table top resin, (what i make my coasters from), costs $85.00/gallon. I haven't sold that much yet, since it takes real talent to even make enough in sales to break even, not to mention being pretty significantly tech savvy, which I am not.
I have been doing shows here in the Richmond area this past summer and fall, however, people simply don't realize the cost of supplies and the work it takes to create my pieces. So, I get a lot of "window shoppers". I'd love to be able to keeeé ep working, keep practicing and keep creating new techniques, but since I'm on an extremely fixed income, it's difficult to keep up.
Thanks so much for visiting my site, and I hope you were able to find something you would love for yourself, or for a loved one. If not, would you consider a donation? Anything helps.
Thanks again for stopping by, but PLEASE, keep checking in!! I'm always creating new things, and I'm getting better and better with my technique. Share my website address with a friend!
